[ 01 · The association ]
A range is a discipline, not a venue.
NMPSA brings first-time shooters, club members, and competitors onto the same two ranges under one standard: nobody reaches the firing line without a briefing, an eligibility check, and a Range Officer who owns the line. Every session is scheduled, supervised, and recorded.

From first briefing to match day.
Availability depends on branch facilities, accredited personnel, event approval, firearm and ammunition controls, weather, and range condition.
Supervised practice
Scheduled live-fire practice under Range Officer control, with lane or bay assignment and session-level activity records.
Practical shooting
Structured skills development and club practice following the approved discipline, stage design, equipment, and safety rules.
Competitions & events
Match registration, squadding, officials, competitor checks, stage plans, scoring, results, and incident documentation.
Club membership
Application, identity review, orientation, member standing, renewals, activity history, and disciplinary safeguards.
Private group sessions
Pre-arranged organizational or group activities subject to purpose, instructor, capacity, safety, and legal screening.
[ 03 · Your first range day ]
Four steps to the line.
Nobody shoots on the day they walk up. NMPSA schedules the visit, checks eligibility, briefs you on the rules that apply at that range, and only then assigns you a bay under a Range Officer.

RA 10591 defines a shooting range as a firearms training, testing, sports, or competition facility registered with and accredited in good standing by the PNP-FEO. NMPSA’s system therefore manages eligibility, accreditation, safety, custody, and branch records together.
A booking request is not range authorization. The Range Officer may delay, suspend, or terminate any activity for safety, weather, facility, legal, or conduct reasons.
✓Branch PNP-FEO shooting-range or gun-club accreditation and responsible officers tracked.
✓Identity, firearm custody, licensing or lawful-use basis, ammunition, and transport documentation screened as applicable.
✓Mandatory safety briefing, signed acknowledgment, protective equipment, range commands, and officer assignment recorded per session.
✓Daily opening inspection covers backstops, berms, boundaries, signage, first aid, fire equipment, communications, and weather.
✓Discharge, incident, injury, ceasefire, ejection, and emergency-service events are logged and escalated.
✓LGU zoning, business, building, fire-safety, environmental/noise, BIR branch, labor, and privacy requirements tracked by location.
