Becoming an Associate: Recruitment, NDA, and Territory Assignment

First, the basics: full name, email, phone, Viber number, your complete current address (built from a region-to-barangay cascade, not free text, so it's consistent everywhere it's used), and your gender, same as on any Jeepney.io account. Alongside those, you also upload a formal photo -- and this one is worth pausing on, because it's more consequential than it looks. The moment your account is created, it becomes your actual Jeepney.io profile photo, automatically, through the same crop-and-resize pipeline used for every profile picture on the platform. If you're ever promoted to Territory Head, that exact photo is what appears on the public Francisco Motors team page. Choose a real, current, professional-looking photo of yourself, not a placeholder or an old picture -- it's genuinely worth the extra thirty seconds. Alongside your formal photo, you also upload a picture of a valid government ID (a driver's license is preferred, but any valid ID works) -- this is kept in a separate, access-restricted location, never shown publicly, and exists purely for identity verification. Next comes the Non-Disclosure Agreement. You read it directly on the page and check a box to agree -- that checkbox, submitted together with the rest of your application, is your legal digital signature under the Philippines' E-Commerce Act. There's no separate signing step, no second visit, no PDF to print and scan. The NDA protects confidential business, operational, and personal information you may encounter while working with Francisco Motors, and it stays in effect for as long as you're active in the Network. Finally, you select the territory you're applying for from a cascading region-to-barangay picker. If the exact territory you pick is already assigned to an active Associate, the form rejects the submission outright and tells you to choose a different one -- you'd need to pick a more specific district or barangay under it instead if you'd still like to apply in that area. Territory assignment itself happens automatically based on what you select; there's no separate approval step just for location.
