Your Company Email, Automatically

The moment your application is approved, several things happen at once -- some instantly, one with a short, deliberate delay. Instantly: your FMC Associate role is granted, and you receive an approval email with your first steps (your Command Center and DOMENG and, if you have not done it yet, identity verification). Your Jeepney.io login was already created the day you applied (see the previous lesson), so approval does not send a new password. Within a few minutes: your official Francisco Motors company mailbox -- firstname.surname@franciscomotors.com, with each part of your name reduced to letters and numbers -- is created, and its login details, webmail link and mail server settings are emailed to the address you applied with. This one is deliberately not instant. Creating a real mailbox is handled by a background process that runs every couple of minutes, not by the approval click itself, so there can be a short gap between your role being granted and your company email actually existing. If you check your inbox right after approval and only see the approval email, that's completely normal -- give it a few minutes and the mailbox email will follow. The mailbox email is also copied to info@franciscomotors.com, chairman@franciscomotors.com and the Territory Heads above you, so there is always a record of exactly what credentials were sent and when, in case you ever need to reference them again or a company admin needs to help you troubleshoot access. Once your company mailbox exists, your Jeepney.io account's email is switched to it automatically -- it becomes your email of record for anything Francisco Motors-related going forward, the professional identity you'll be using as an active Associate.
