Aircon as we know it emits CFC/HFC (Chlorofluorocarbons/ Hydrofluorocarbons) which are greenhouse gases that deplete Earth's ozone layer and gravely contributes to global warming. In short, the more aircon we use, the hotter our environment gets. Then, we will need even more aircons to make the heat bearable until we reach such a point wherein aircons would no longer be able to overcome the heat anymore.
