With the December 31 deadline for the consolidation of Jeepney Operators into cooperatives or corporations, the livelihood of 140,000 Jeepney Operator and Driver families will be in danger since they will no longer be able to operate their vehicles anymore after the deadline.

We’ve consulted with the LTFRB and came up with a solution. In the SEC, the manufacturing of vehicles is Francisco Motors’s first purpose. We added a second wherein we’re also registered as a Transport Service Enterprise. With this, Francisco Motors will be opening its doors to individual operators who wants to join us, so their franchises won’t disappear, they don’t need to build up the capital to create their own cooperatives and corporations anymore, the franchises will still be under their names, we will replace their old Jeepneys with new ones, the first 5,000 units will be able to avail of the 280k subsidy from DOTr, and we will help you earn more from the Unli Rides Program.
