E-Francisco Motor Corporation Chairman and CEO Elmer Francisco presented the company's whole plan for National Industrialization and Jeepney Modernization to House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Committee on Appropriations Chairman Cong. Zaldy Co and Deputy Speaker David Suarez in front of the media along with my son and eFMC Chief Sustainability Officer Dominic Francisco as witnessed by Mr. Ed Sarao of Sarao Motors.

Francisco bared all the problems and possible solutions in and around the PUV Modernization Program from the point of view of a company that is among the oldest in the industry at 77-years since 1947. No other company comes close to the history and experience of Francisco and Sarao.

We thank our Speaker for the pledge of full support from our over-300-strong House of Representatives for our local manufacturers and Filipino workers.

Thank you also for your support for my recommendation to make the industry consolidation OPTIONAL so that Jeepney operators may have the freedom to join or not to join a transport cooperative or corporation as they see fit as long as they modernize their units.
